What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use browser local storage for preferences. Together they help the site work and remember choices.
Your choices
On first visit you can accept all categories or limit use to essential technologies only. You can change your mind by clearing site data in your browser; the banner will appear again. See also our Privacy Policy.
Categories we use
| Category | Purpose | Consent |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Firebase Authentication session, security tokens, load balancing. Required to sign in and use the app. | Not required (always on) |
| Functional | Cookie consent choice (pedagix_cookie_consent_v1), signup intent, email for magic-link sign-in. Improves UX without tracking you across sites. | Bundled with essential or accept-all banner choice |
| Analytics | None deployed today. If we add privacy-friendly analytics, they run only after you choose "Accept all". | Opt-in via banner |
Third-party cookies
Google (Firebase Auth) and Stripe (checkout) may set cookies when you sign in or pay. Their policies apply to those flows. We do not control third-party cookie names; refer to Google and Stripe documentation for details.
Browser controls
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent sign-in and core features from working.
